Eleena BB is sad to announce that it is temporarily closed until further notice. This is due to covid-19 and our business being run from home. BUT, all is not lost. We now offer home-appointments: your perfect wedding dress from the comfort of your own home. Please read the below information before booking your home appointment. We want to thank you for sticking with us through this turbulent time.

It all started when...

We were wedding dress shopping. How often do you find two sisters engaged at the same time!?

I had already found a dress I liked, but as the months went on, began to feel I had made a mistake. Rowena suggested we have one more shopping trip to alleviate my worries. On the second time around of trying on dresses, I realised I had made a mistake, had rushed my decision and listened to too many (well wishing) people’s opinions.

Together we have visited many places and had some great experiences and some not so great experiences, we joked that we could give it a go ourselves….. and so we are!

Our Values

Affordability

One of the things that we are passionate about is affordability. On our journey, and on a limited wedding dress budget, it became increasingly difficult to find a dress that we liked, without having to compromise on price. When creating Eleena Bridal Boutique, it became very clear that affordability was something that was important to us and we created a range of ways to keep the cost down for brides without having to worry about quality.

Offering a range of priced dresses, promotions, package deals is important to us, to ensure that all customers feel their hard earned money is well spent.

Family Run

As well as us (Rowena and Ellie), we also have our Fiancés, helping us make sure this business can be run as smoothly as possible. It is a real team effort! You will be able to feel this when you visit the boutique, which is run from home. Friends and family have all chipped in, from helping design websites, decorate the boutique, Eleena owes its success to many people.

Sustainability

In this day and age, being environmentally friendly is something everyone has a responsibility toward. On our search, we have ensured that the items we have sourced are environmentally friendly as we can make. Nothing is shipped from outside of the UK, some dresses are excellent quality second hand, ex sample or brand new dresses, that we have bought from ex brides or other small businesses. Supporting and working with other small businesses is something we are passionate about. We want our customers to feel that their purchase with us will help sustainability, and that is why we also offer a ‘buy it back’ service; you buy your dress from us, wear it, and within six months of your wedding date, providing you can prove you’ve had your dress dry cleaned and there are no very large and noticeable problems, we will buy the dress back from you for a percentage of the original sale price. This continues to keep the cost down for other brides and the sustainability wheel continues to go around!

FAQ

How are you able to keep the cost of the dresses so low?

We are able to keep the costs low because we sell ‘off the peg’. This means that we don’t alter the dresses, we don’t order them in and once they’re gone, they’re gone! Sometimes the designs might be a few seasons out of date, but it doesn’t mean they are any the less beautiful!

Do we hold the dresses with deposits?

No, we don’t keep dresses by and we do not accept deposits. This is because the dresses are already so reasonable priced and we do not provide alterations.

Can we recommend someone who does do alterations or provides other services?

We pride ourselves on working with local suppliers and have worked with and know many great suppliers in the wedding industry, and we would be happy to share some names with you, should you ask.

What sizes do you stock?

Generally, we have sizes between UK6- UK24. However, this may change ever so slightly, as we are off the peg.

What are the prices of your dresses and accessories?

Our dresses start at £50, but these are few and far between! Most are around the £300-£400 mark but never more expensive than £600. Accessories begin at £5 and we stock belts, tiaras and veils.

Can I take photos?

Absolutely! We have no worries about you taking photos. We know it is important to reflect on the dresses you would have tried on to help you make an informed decision.

How will I know if I have found the one?

Only you will know how you feel. For some brides they know right away (as it was for Rowena), for others it might be a harder decision (as it was for Ellie!). People may have opinions to share and this can be helpful, but also confusing! So, we always recommend that you base your decision on how you feel in the dress. If you are stuck between two dresses or more, walk away and sleep on it.

We offer Saturday and Sunday appointments between 10-2pm and weeknight appointments between 5.30pm-7pm. However, we try to cater for requests outside these times if required.
